She only knew later that he was already married
The problem
Only one verb in Chinese where there are three in English (?)
(1) know (have knowledge / information)
(2) meet (for the first time / become familiar with)
(3) find out /discover
Standard English
I met him when we were on holiday in Switzerland.
She only found out later that he was already married.
